“The idea for the new Lucid Dreams began after a real dream…I was standing on the edge of a field surrounded by trees. Meteors were raining down from the sky like tears of fire. One meteor crashed into a tree in an explosion of smoke and cinders. When the smoke cleared I walked closer. This was no meteor. Where the tree once stood was now a tall, human like woman wrapped in a gold shroud. She began to speak. She said she was part of a small race of perfumers that have come to earth to share their knowledge of perfumery. Each one of them a master that creates all of their perfumes around a specific ingredient. From this dream I awoke and wrote down what would become Lucid Dreams. Each perfume centered around an ingredient in a dreamy light using the finest materials.”

Each cruelty-free fragrance from For the Scent of It is crafted by hand with care using only responsibly sourced materials. Every fragrance is created from scratch one material at a time and each is diluted to high “Eau de Parfum” strength. There are no phthalates, parabens, dyes, and ABSOLUTELY NO pre-made, inexpensive “fragrance oils”. Each bottle is filled by hand in small batches making each bottle feel uniquely special during the process. Each bottle is shipped in eco-friendly packaging that can be reused or recycled. So often a perfume is purchased and the box just sits there or gets thrown out. We believe a perfume shouldn’t be regarded necessarily for extravagant packaging and should be enjoyed simply “For the Scent of It”!

Cruelty-free and no parabens, pthalates, or dyes.

All Sales are Final. For cosmetic product safety concerns, returns and exchanges are not accepted. Due to the fact that scent is very personal and expectations vary from person to person, we encourage all customers to purchase samples of our fragrances before purchasing a full bottle.

Free standard shipping on domestic orders. All orders usually ship within 2 business days. We can currently only ship within the USA.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

A duo of summer stunners. Both are bright, crisp, and invigorating, but each has its own distinct personality. If you are a fan of citrus frags, definitely give these a shot.

Tropical Citrus Sangria!

so I went for this FIRST because it’s the one I’m the most excited about from the new releases. I was listening to “Wouldn’t it be nice” by The Beach Boys doing some light cleaning around the house while I lived in the top notes. A beautiful vintage wooden polish reminiscent of a sweet but pithy grapefruit pops through. It’s nectar-y and bright orange like the kind featured in a groovy 70s-style paisley carpet-that must be the mango juice. And it might be the Osmanthus but it’s got me feeling peach fuzz, and wanting to wear a light summer dress right quick. This is SUCH a funky perfume. This is a special one that is so sunny D happy and full of bell bottom flair. 😎 this is what you call an anti-depressant perfume for sure. It will pull you right onto the dance floor and you won’t even want to resist. Full sizing as soon as I get the chance. If you love a sweet and delicious mango ripe perfume, or a citrus perfume that isn’t just creamsicle when combined with vanilla and amber, you’ve gotta try this one. It’s really special! It’s a beast and I can’t wait to see how my love deepens for it as I get to know it better as I’m only just in the honeymoon phase of getting to know it.
