JOURNEY: There’s an age old expression that moss always points north…well, they must be talking about forest moss. This aquatic scent begins with a wave of sea notes. Green apple and lemon ride high, adding a subtle fruitiness that’s given an herbal lift by sage. Rose and geranium bring a pop of color to the wave. As the wave breaks, it washes the minerals, leaving a salty impression. On this shoreline lies glimpses of Time. Centuries-old cedar trees loom over the landscape; a musky breeze that’s traveled unknown distances sweeps the air; a tenacious moss grows atop the stones; looking closer, some of these stones aren’t stones at all, but have themselves traveled great distances. This moss points East.

INSPIRATION: "I was inspired to create this fragrance back in 2020 when I wanted an aquatic scent that lasted longer on my skin. I have always enjoyed the smell of aquatic fragrances, but rarely did they leave a lasting impression. I set out to create one that did. I had an image of the brisk eastern sea shore, dotted with moss covered stones. Not 'oakmoss' but rather a 'sea moss'. I wanted there to be a salty, almost mineral, aspect to the moss with touches of fruit and woods. If you enjoy aquatic perfumes like I do, give this one a try."

Each cruelty-free fragrance from For the Scent of It is crafted by hand with care using only responsibly sourced materials. Every fragrance is created from scratch one material at a time and each is diluted to high “Eau de Parfum” strength. There are no phthalates, parabens, dyes, and ABSOLUTELY NO pre-made, inexpensive “fragrance oils”. Each bottle is filled by hand in small batches making each bottle feel uniquely special during the process. Each bottle is shipped in eco-friendly packaging that can be reused or recycled. So often a perfume is purchased and the box just sits there or gets thrown out. We believe a perfume shouldn’t be regarded necessarily for extravagant packaging and should be enjoyed simply “For the Scent of It”!

Ingredients: Alcohol Denat., Fragrance (Parfum), Water (Aqua).
Cruelty-free and no parabens, pthalates, or dyes.

All Sales are Final. For cosmetic product safety concerns, returns and exchanges are not accepted. Due to the fact that scent is very personal and expectations vary from person to person, we encourage all customers to purchase samples of our fragrances before purchasing a full bottle.

Free standard shipping on domestic orders. All orders usually ship within 2 business days. We can currently only ship within the USA.

If you want an aquatic that transports you to the coast of Greece, where you're dressed in linen and enjoying an upscale brunch, this is your guy! I Absolutely love this, as does my friend that has the opposite taste in Fragrance as me. The transformative effect that this has makes it a must have for summer. Do yourself a favor- pick up a bottle of this! I guarantee you'll smell better and more luxurious than the people around you!
