This scent conjures up the image of biting into a fresh fig, the rich, leafy aroma still lingering in the air. The invigorating, green opening of the fragrance settles into a pulpy, creamy fig center that blends perfectly with the cloud of musk in the dry out.

INSPIRATION: This fragrance came to life after discovering a beautiful Sylvia Plath quote one day. Here’s just a fragment, but hopefully it helps you to get a feeling for Forbidden Fig:

From the tip of every branch, like a fat purple fig, a wonderful future beckoned and winked...I saw myself sitting in the crotch of this fig tree, starving to death, just because I couldn't make up my mind which of the figs I would choose. Each cruelty-free fragrance from For the Scent of It is crafted by hand with care using only responsibly sourced materials. Every fragrance is created from scratch one material at a time and each is diluted to high “Eau de Parfum” strength. There are no phthalates, parabens, dyes, and ABSOLUTELY NO pre-made, inexpensive “fragrance oils”. Each bottle is filled by hand in small batches making each bottle feel uniquely special during the process. Each bottle is shipped in eco-friendly packaging that can be reused or recycled. So often a perfume is purchased and the box just sits there or gets thrown out. We believe a perfume shouldn’t be regarded necessarily for extravagant packaging and should be enjoyed simply “For the Scent of It”!

Cruelty-free and no parabens, pthalates, or dyes.

All Sales are Final. For cosmetic product safety concerns, returns and exchanges are not accepted. Due to the fact that scent is very personal and expectations vary from person to person, we encourage all customers to purchase samples of our fragrances before purchasing a full bottle.
