INSPIRATION: "I actually came up with the idea for this fragrance unexpectedly when I was working on another perfume idea. I realized the base notes formed a gorgeous perfume in itself. It reminded me instantly of bare skin, in the best possible way. It is now one of my wife's favorite scents. Every day she gets home from work, I can still smell it on her with only one or two sprays to the nape of her neck. You'll even catch me wearing it from time to time. Intoxicating..."

Each cruelty-free fragrance from For the Scent of It is crafted by hand with care using only responsibly sourced materials. Every fragrance is created from scratch one material at a time and each is diluted to high “Eau de Parfum” strength. There are no phthalates, parabens, dyes, and ABSOLUTELY NO pre-made, inexpensive “fragrance oils”. Each bottle is filled by hand in small batches making each bottle feel uniquely special during the process. Each bottle is shipped in eco-friendly packaging that can be reused or recycled. So often a perfume is purchased and the box just sits there or gets thrown out. We believe a perfume shouldn’t be regarded necessarily for extravagant packaging and should be enjoyed simply “For the Scent of It”!

Ingredients: Alcohol Denat., Fragrance (Parfum), Water (Aqua).
Cruelty-free and no parabens, pthalates, or dyes.

All Sales are Final. For cosmetic product safety concerns, returns and exchanges are not accepted. Due to the fact that scent is very personal and expectations vary from person to person, we encourage all customers to purchase samples of our fragrances before purchasing a full bottle.

Free standard shipping on domestic orders. All orders usually ship within 2 business days. We can currently only ship within the USA.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Beautiful Clean Cozy Fragrance

Love at first sniff! This is equal parts clean & cozy with a light touch of sweet. The perfect “anytime” fragrance that is a must have for anyone who works in an office/corporate environment. Its so smooth & pleasing, it will never offend any noses, not even the most sensitive. It also layers beautifully with light citrus or musk scents. I’m excited to explore more from Michael.

Ethereal Vanilla

Nearly Nu surprised me. I anticipated it being an easy to love scent (which it is), but I was pleasantly surprised by the longevity of this fragrance. It's not loud, but I get gentle whiffs throughout the day.

The vanilla is slightly balmy to my nose, perhaps due to the musk mallow. It's not heavy or cloying at all, but has a substantive presence reminiscent of how the air feels after rain on an unusually brisk late spring day, with water droplets clinging to newly awakened irises.
